Wedge wire screen fabricated filter element/cartridge has micron filtration ratings. This rigid filter tube or literal not only offers high filtration accuracy, but also high strength and durability. The benefits are achieved by its special structure of welded slotting with wires and support rods. The filtration can be as fine as 20 microns.
Introduction of Filter Media:
Wedge wire as filter media is a welded stainless steel structure, mainly used for filtration, separation and retention. It consists of surface profiles, usually V-shaped, that are resistance welded onto support profiles. The distance between the surface profiles is controlled very accurately, as it forms the slot through which the filtrate flows. Wedgewire screen panels find popular uses in making of filter elements and cartridges for water treatment and other industries.
